Le Caisson à Brouillard is an installation that revisits the physical surface used to receive a video image. This installation has the capacity to change our perceptions of matter and image by creating a live, physical encounter between the fundamental elements of photography: light and its material.

The work presents a moving image created by the meeting of the light generated by a video projector and the smoke contained in a box. Both are volatile and intangible materials, but their contact allows the formation of a structure to accommodate a nostalgic, minimal and three-dimensional-looking image.

The image produced is the representation of a body in suspension, floating in a void made of smoke and light. This protagonist discovers his own body, born from these intangible materials, and the limits of his environment, the box.
